I am a professional cook and freelance recipe developer based out of Toronto, Canada. I live with my husband Marco and our springer spaniel, Riker.

Before graduating from Humber College’s Culinary Skills Program in 2010, I interned at Jules Patisserie in Toronto. Once I completed my studies at Humber, I was hired at Jules Patisserie as an Assistant Pastry Chef.
In 2012, I took on the role of Head Pastry Chef for Mabel’s Bakery, a chain of homestyle bakeries in Toronto, Canada.
In 2013 I began an internship in the Canadian Living Test Kitchen. In October of that year I had my first recipe published in Canadian Living magazine. Having completed a four month internship developing recipes, my inclusion in the October issue was the ‘icing on the cake’.
Canadian Living’s Cocktail Fridays: Dragon Fruit Martini
“This year, we had a great Test Kitchen intern named Tyler Christian Brown, who we absolutely loved. We loved him so much, in fact, that we had him develop a delicious cocktail for our October issue — and he did a fantastic job. We loved the fresh tropical flavours in this super stylish black and white martini.” – Canadian Living, November 23, 2013
In 2014 the editorial team at National Geographic Traveler asked if they could include my food photography in their June/July 2014 iPad issue. Obviously I was thrilled and agreed to have my photo featured. I took it on my first trip to India, before tucking into a plate of momos at Kunga Restaurant in Darjeeling.
In 2014 I took on the role of Product Developer for DOM International, a seafood company based in Toronto Canada. I develop value-added seafood products for DOM, as well as the house brands of Canada’s major grocery chains. In addition to recipe development, I style and photograph our seafood products for marketing and social media.
Since taking on the Product Developer role at DOM International, I have created several seafood products available for purchase at Costco, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Sobeys, and Metro. From spring 2015 to summer 2016, I developed several items for the label From Our Chefs sold at Loblaws.

In 2020 I developed DOM Poke Singles, sold at Costco and Metro grocers across Canada. In 2021, the success of DOM Poke Singles in Canadian Costco locations warranted an expansion into American Costco.
